These are steel rings that are to be epoxy and riveted with aluminum 5/32 aircraft crush rivets in place, And alum door is screwed in place with stainless steel button head 10/32 machine screws. The idea was to cut a hole and not weaken the body. Hole size is 6-1/2 x 7-1/2 on outside and 5.00 X 6.00 on ID Because all bugs are the same shape , They will fit all years . and everything less epoxy is included to install . The rivets pictured with white primer car , are / were cut to length in a hurry to paint car . and the prototypes on my car I was building at the time . the rivets supplied with kit ? should be squeezed or punch down half the length stick out . Proper length ! LOL . Lot easier to paint the over squeezed rivets ! LOL . If you did not see the hammered over lip onto the steel ring ? When you cut hole out of center of body ? cut iD 3/16 smaller , so you can hammer over ring during install . Call me for install instruction's if need . and when hammering edge over ring ? start on flats then corners , do that process -8-9-10 times if needed ? Its not a race when doing nice work for yourself ! Take your time ! Use a round steel rod for corners as your turning edge , Less filing and the smother the process the better ! , ENJOY !! lol shipping in US is about 18.00 plus Paypal fees ALWAYS IN STOCK !
