Having trouble finding this info, but i'm needing to reboot and looks like PO had put some cheapo empis across the board.
my van is an 85 manual tin top and I've got access to OE axles and joints from an 86 manual westfalia. Any reason these won't work out?
thanks _________________ so many roads i know

The WBX axle length was unchanged over the WBX years.
Older vans had slightly longer axles.
The Bentley only gives the lengths for the early longer ones.
The difference between early and wbx is small, something like 1/4".

Awesome. This is in-line with what I was thinking. Wasn’t sure however if there were shifts between 1.9-2.1 transition. Thank you both. _________________ so many roads i know
