				| I highly reccommend Richard Carey's work. The carb you buy is the best you can get in my opinion. He knows his business and he takes care to see that you get exactly what you ordered. Lou Harris Dallas

				| Richard was very patient with a bunch of questions I had. I finally ordered mine on Monday and it arrived on Thursday. Looked absolutely brand new although it was just as old as the one on my car. Went on the car Saturday without a hitch and I noticed improved performance right away. I had considered rebuilding my old carb but he cleans them better than I ever could and reassembles them with some improved bushings. Thanks, Richard!
UPDATE: Drove the car tonight for an hour. Oh, baby, what a difference a clean carb and tight gaskets make. Easy starting, responsive engine, no hesitation, smooth acceleration. Wow!

Now I just have to figure out why the car backfires on long downhills with the engine keeping the car speed down...

				| All,
Another satisfied customer here! I purchased a 30 PICT-1 from Richard Carey and I'm very happy. As others have stated, the carb looks like new and I can't believe how much better the car runs. The carb was shipped quickly - ordered on a Monday and arrived on Thursday - and it was well packed. I plan on having him do any future carb work I need. If anybody is wondering about his service, don't worry. You will be very glad you delt with a true professional.

				| Yes, great work Richard! I received my German Solex 28 PCI - rebuilt, machined and re-bushed carb from him quickly and my all original 1959 beetle sedan now runs like clock work and no more gas fumes in the garage! (I never thought it would make such a difference wow! ) | |

				| I just packed up and mailed him my old carb after getting a rebuilt one from him. I was going to try to rebuild my old one myself but figured he can do a much better job on it and make someone else a satisfied customer. | |

				| I have to agree that Richard does great work. The carb my friend bought looked brand new when he got it and his car is running great! I just received mine in the post and I'm looking forward to putting it on my bug.

				| Another very satisfied customer of Richard Carey here. I rebuilt my carb a while back, but it didn't solve my problems, so I got in touch with Mr. Carey. I got a 30PICT-2 from him last week, and all I can say is "wow." The carb looks brand-new, but don't let that fool you - it's better than brand new. My Ghia is running so much better now.
If you want a quality Solex to replace your old leaky one, don't hesitate to contact Mr. Carey.

				| I ordered a rebuilt German carb for my 1969 Beetle. I mistakenly told Richard that I had a single-port manifold, so he suggested a 30 PICT 3. I realized my mistake when I received the carb in the mail. Richard exchanged the carb for the correct dual-port 34 PICT 3. I installed it this past weekend and it works great! No more leaking gas and more power too!
Thank you Richard and Dean for a quality product and great service!

				| Got my carb from Rich today, packed nice and fast shipping. Carb really improved my 36hp '55 bug's running. My best time in the 1/4 was 1 min. 20 sec. since I've installed the carb my best time is 11.8 sec. Really worth the money. Naaa, it did make an improvement in the car, no more popping at idle, smooth take-offs.

				| We bought carburetors for our two club-cars (a 1968 bay and a 1963 police Type 1). Great service and a smooth transaction. 10 days after we placed the order, the parts arrived i Norway! The work done on the carbs is just stunning. Years of trouble-free driving awaits us.
