Is that a radio suppressor (silver cylinder) to the right of the regulator?

I believe so but it's larger than most I've seen in the past

Cleaning up a '54 motor I had sitting and while glassing the tin noticed that the 3 and 4 cylinder top tins had been double stamped? Maybe a mixup at the stamp machine?
