I think James Garner was in a Brabham in the 1966 Grand Prix movie ?

edit: he was in another car, but competing against Brabhams.

IIRC...
Brabham: green and gold.
Lotus: green and yellow; later, black and gold.

Lotus also ran red / white / gold cars as well with gold leaf branding. Graham Hill and Jochen Rindt drove under those colors. Rindt winning his championship posthumously in those colors.

true, I have seen the Lotus 72 in person. in Graz. I was also dating a girl that lived in Jochen's house in Ruckerlberggürtel, Graz. his final resting place is less than 1 mile from my place.... Embarassed

my 34 in front of said cemetery. just a
hundred yards away from Jochen. RIP.

I am about to put 1966 Speedwell Sprint carbs on my early 1967 1500 bug. Graham Hill was the Speedwell endorser.
Thank you for your post reminding me of all those details. it does mean a lot to me !!!!!

Graham Hill, one of the coolest Gentleman drivers ever !

Grand Prix rocks. Don't watch "Ferrari" unless you wan't to never be able to unsee the end.

I'm thinking so. Curtain rods definitely look legit. Cab divider curtain and possible stove door.

Ok. Not so “vintage” this photo, but still nice! Refreshing to see those “non-samba” busses.... Cool

It must be the first planning meeting of a very tall, effective, and necessary wall somewhere in the southern USA.
