Vintage Cibie Iode AIRPORT 35 fog lites fit the original Projektzwo as if they were made for it
Only drawback is finding a good set and they use H2 bulbs.

Ok, that is interesting!
I'm going to need a breakdown of parts used (and numbers!), plus multi-angle pictures of the entire build (to include the unboxing of said parts!).
Hope it's not too much trouble.
Thanks!

What are these worth NOS ? |
NOS- Several hundred euros\ dollars.
TerraPodz- $200?
@Red Ryder- No, the Originals or the new TP, are only good at DRLs. (but, they look damn good doing it!)
@tsrhines- YES! Exactly as I meant! |
So you think the Facebook add for slightly used terrapods @ $380 is pie in the sky ?
I wonder which is made of more durable plastic.
I have the SA lower grill mounted. I got terrapods just because and to reward Eric's efforts to bring them back but they don't look as clean (the terra or projezwo version) as the SA grill so I never got around to mounting them. Don't remember the price on the TP lights.
In the city and suburbia I don't feel any need for more than just normal hella h4 but I want something with halos as drl and turn signal.
@Steve M. Nice work there !

I don't have a clue what is happening over on Facistbook.
I am also unaware of actual current prices.
What I can say, is that I've owned both. The originals sucked as far as build quality. The TPs are leaps and bounds better.
The TPs have polycarbonate lenses and ABS housing.
The originals don't. Also, impossible to find replacement parts for.
Which is exactly why, I suspect, the TPs were created. _________________ 1990 Feldjäger Syncro AAZ

I was referring to the link of the Facebook add for a pair just a couple posted beforehand.
For now I feel like I'll keep my pods in case the sa grill gets broken. The pods look better than just the standard short lower grill. For me they are mostly an appearance thing. |

I agree 100% it's an appearance thing.
They also do a fair job of DRL. I love mine. _________________ 1990 Feldjäger Syncro AAZ

I don't, sorry.
I'm not personally involved with them, I'm just a satisfied customer. _________________ 1990 Feldjäger Syncro AAZ

My TP are still working fine after probably 6 or 7 years (bought them when they first came out), but the driver's side lens has a wicked cataract. Guess the lens quality was different between the two lights. Too bad because they look pretty trashed now. All the LEDs are still working tho. _________________ 1990 Syncro 16" DoppleKabine 2.1 DJ 112i

Heads up, the stock while ones were only 5 watts, the amber you linked are a whopping 40 watts! I doubt there is enough space to dissipate all that heat. _________________ 1991 tin top GL

I think this should get you guys excited. We are working on a glass lens TerraPodz V2. Using a Hella 550 lamp. Easy to find replacements if ever you should need one. Uses an H1 bulb or LED equivalent.
This is our proto test fitting right now. We've got a little tweaking to do then hopefully live in a month or two. Best part is that we manufacture our parts and have 100% control on quality and availability.

I like the new design.
I have those lights mounted above the bumper on a bracket but don't like the look of them just hanging out there. |

Looks great. Using off-the-shelf light source is awesome too. Especially given that the hella 550 is available in fog, driving, white, amber... _________________ '90 Little Blue Truck, 2WD auto, FAS GenV 2.0 NA (AVH) |
