Almost 100 percent original 68 beetle.
Painted this in 2003. It glows in 2022.

Rims are still in Eastwoods silver primer from 2004. Looks pretty good still.
I need to finish the rims and install carpet. Cant find my glove box screws

Scrubbing away the crust. Freakin mouse put some holes in the original headliner. Sucks.

I’m back at it.
Should I sell it?? anyone want it, the red one?
What if I sell it and it causes me mass trauma and I beat my head into a concrete wall till I expire keep it till I kroak
Time to finish it up, engine out and scrub everything

I seem to be the 3rd owner, Doris bought this beetle in 1971.
From searching, she left us in 2004. Coulda shown her the beetle back than.

Completely stock with torsion bar front, swingaxle rear, smooth hubs, single MC, 40 mm shoes, 31PICT3 carb and 5 bolt drums all round, currently Running a 1976 SF:AS engine with the original SF:AD engine overhauled in a box, waiting to go back in one day. |
