Spotted this patina Square in the grocery parking lot.
I kinda like the phone dial wheels on it.

Yesterday, parked on Arkansas St (or Ave) in Denver, CO - a '70 or '71 Beetle, light blue with a roof rack. Anyone here? _________________ “If you care for a thing long enough, it takes on a life of its own, doesn't it? This poor Vanagon has been in the Wild for a while and has an older non VW friend across the way. They both need to be revived.

Mid-'60's Ghia Coupe seen while driving around for local errands, mid-October 2024. Parked at a repair shop along Rt 303 in Valley Cottage, New York (Rockland County in southern part of the state) with several other classic cars such as 1960's Chevy Corvair, Lincoln Continental. Narrowed front beam, rust repair panel joints surface rust. Engine lid drilled for "VOLKSWAGEN" emblem to the left of the license plate, but the lid is easily exchanged. '70/'71 rear bumper.

Does this count? Local carnival is in town. Looks like custom mods to super beetles....

Spotted this 73 or later standard beetle at Walnut Creek Marina near Fairview, PA on Wednesday. Looks like a really clean car. It was a rare sight on a beautiful summer day. I know it’s not rare where a lot of you come from but up here in the rust belt it’s a special occasion to see an air cooled bug out and about. Are you a member if so let me know.

ACVWs aren't as common a sight for us as you might think. It's always a treat to see one out and about. The owner of this one has done a nice job preserving/restoring it. _________________ Tom
