Hey all. I recently purchased some Werksberg panels off of the add on here. These are great quality and value for the money. I got the door panels, kick panels and headliner in grey. For fasteners I just went to lowes and bought some 1/2" long phillips head, self-tapping screws that have a flat washer fixed to the head, probably around 3/8" wide.
The predrilled holes for the door handles were spot on, headlight holes perfect, and I didn't have to do any trimming. I'll update the post when I get my headliner installed.

Nice! I just got a bunch of those panels for my 67. I haven't tackled the headliner yet. My Bus had a cloth headliner so I am not really sure how these panels will fit for me. Look forward to seeing how yours turns out. _________________ 1967 - Deluxe Bus - Pearl White/Velvet Green |

They come with screws/washers. They’re just hidden really well in the packing. |

Yep you're totally right. I missed them in all of the news paper.

I found a bench seat frame and had my buddy do some nice vinyl upholstery on it. The white is gonna be hard to take care of but man it looks sweet.
Im really liking the vibe.

So I got my headliner in finally and everything fits pretty well.
Its kind of cumbersome to get everything in straight and lined up.
Here's a picture for reference.
Im happy with how it turned out

Another angle of the bench seat.
Also, I am slowly moving the gauges from that wooden panel by the fresh air box to the dash. I already have the fuel gauge in the stock location and used an ISP stock looking gauge.
I bought a tachometer and a voltmeter that match, and will install them in a gauge mount from Shorty's, under the dash, to the right of the speedo.
The other two gauges up there are oil pressure and temp, and I plan on getting matching ones eventually, but Shorty's doesn't have a double mount for the left of the speedo in stock right now.
Ill keep the wiring for future install on those.
I have a stock metal block off plate that takes the place of the wooden panel up there that I plan on painting. I bought two cans of L31 paint that I got paint matched to my dash from my local PPG.
THEN, im thinking about getting a silver beige steering wheel to set it all off. Not sure yet. Let me know what you think |

Will you paint your steering column, e-brake and shifter? |

You know i probably won't go that far to paint those and that's why I was hesitant on the wheel because it would probably look out of place on a black steering column |

It might look intentional and good with the shifter knob. |

I did what you are doing with gauges - some tips:
before install, bend the mount from 90 degrees so it tilts upwards a bit. And since you don't want to bend it too far, consider determining what is the limit for each gauge, and mark the outside of the bezel w/ a spot of paint. At that height, the gauges are hard to see without taking eyes off road; with a dab of paint you can see the body of the needle in relation to the dab at a glance.
Also, those ISP-style tachs HATE electrical noise in your system. The needle will dance, or jump up a few hundred RPMs if they get interference.

I almost went with black panels but decided grey was the way to do it. I am happy with it |
