Thanks!
Yesterday I started fixing my old hackjob to delete/hide the square support tube with more hebmuller like box support. First welded in the backplate so i could cut the top of the square tube and angle it down so it fits inside the boxes.
Now I all I need to do is to adjust the panels before welding!
Also got the last welds finished on the top of the cowl
Also spent a few evenings to adjust the shapes of the top boxes for perfect fitment. Now they are done so I primed the insides ready for welding.

Kris - OUTSTANDING WORK! That is no simple feat! Getting that double complex curved panel to sit perfectly after heating it up in different spots is jaw dropping! My hat is off to you sir!
Can you swing by my place and make my hood look that nice?
Keep running for the finish line! _________________ Jimbo

Started mocking up the shelf/raincatcher in cardboard the past week.
As this is supposed to replicate early hebmuller details also the shelf is curved in several directions.
After a bit of tweaking and heatscratching I did get the shape pretty much as I had planned.
After this I just needed to fit the rear fenders and taillights to check bodylines and fitment between all the parts. So far it's looking good! Just some minor adjustments to get everything to fit perfectly.

Today I welded the shelf. Here's how it ended up in final shape.
Now welded. Left the edge over the firewall still unwelded as I want to adjust it some to ensure the firewall stays straight.
Also now finally welded the left rear triangle repair panel. When it was done I also added the bumpermounts.
