I don't understand this statement - 'If you are interested in seeing the car, send us an email asking for more detailed photos.'
surely anyone interested in seeing the car, and spending that amount, would want to arrange a visit - not more photos. _________________ "we're here on Earth to fart around" kurt vonnegut

Could be the Bus belongs to someone else (parking lot photos). I nearly got caught on one of those scams once. I responded to an ad for a Dodge pickup in another city. Fortunately a Buddy in that city checked up on it and the truck did not exist! _________________ Our cars get old, we get old but driving an old VW never gets old! |

In the ad - All our vehicles will be available to viewing at Miami.
This seller imports a lot of these refurbs. |

Imagine writing all that baloney and leaving out what year the car is.
If you're serious about buying it, I have a bridge to sell you.

itโs a โreplica.โ
a copy of an original object, either exact or a close resemblance.
as robbie said, who knows what year or base model it started out as.

I wouldn't buy any Brazilian Bus without a detailed in person inspection. |
The one Brazilian Bus I worked on had rust and lots of bondo under the fresh paint.
A friend, who's a Bus expert, said it was originally a 15 window and converted.
I would not put put that kind of money without seeing it in person and having someone who knows Busses with me. _________________ Glenn

You can now find German made Splitties in decent condition for half that value if you do research and are patient. _________________ *******************************

Let's see if I can present an analogy that isn't too difficult to grasp...
What is a Rolex worth, a real one?
What is a replica Rolex worth?
It's our own damn fault. 20- 30 years ago we lovingly restored all the nice original splitty Busses and sent them to Japan. As time wore inevitably on, nice unrestored Busses became more difficult to find. No surprise there. Old Busses are handy for storage sheds and chicken coops.
What year is it? You might be surprised. Brazilian Busses were built with second hand German tooling after the tooling became outdated for German production.
Just my opinion I wouldn't pay $70k for a splitty Bus even if it enabled me to bed perfectly preserved and / or immaculately restored hippy chicks.
