I have my carpet out so I want to clean my door sills before I put them back in. They have a bit not corrosion and rust stains from the old screws. How would you clean them up? 71 Ghia. I think they may be aluminum. They are pretty light.

Any thoughts on cleaning with Nevr-Dull? Too harsh?
