Hi. I can’t find pictures or a post so I thought I would post.
I’m welding in a repair panel for the single cab back wall and the treasure chest wall. While clamping and measuring I noticed that there cab floor meets up with this panel. That’s okay, but there are 3-4 cut outs that lead directly into the cab. In case I’m not explaining it well, the cab floor and back wall of the cab are welded from underneath but have oval cut holes that are not welded. Didn’t help did it lol. I want to know what it should look like ????

There are 3 cutouts. One for the shifter linkage and two for the emergency brake cable tubes. Page 7 of my build thread that 70bus posted shows some of what you might find helpful. I cut holes for those pipes because I removed the pipes during the restoration. The factory provided relief because they installed the pipes before installing that panel (my best guess). That repair panel sets on top of the flange of the A-pillar top hat. Any way would be correct, the relief cuts just allow the panel passage from the top. Hope that helps.
