Hey folks-- Any suggestions on someone I could hire to do some work on my '70 bus? Specifically, I'm hoping to find someone who's got experience replacing the poptop tent. I've got one from a '71 that's in good shape, but don't have the time & space to do the job myself.

Am in Bremerton, so hoping to find someone within 40 miles or so, and am eager to get it done ASAP.

Thanks for any recommendations!

Maybe try posting this in the Bay Window Forum as you'll get more "Bus eyes" on it.

Try Vintage Vee-Dub in Port Orchard. If not, he may be able to point to someone else local

Thanks guys-- Already posted to the Bay Window forum last week with no replies.

And as for Vintage VW in Port Orchard, sadly Jon died last year.

Got a couple responses on Facebook though, so will likely find what I'm looking for there!

Along this line, I'm looking for someone to check out a '78 bus located in Burien. I'm in Houston and hoping a local could put an eyeball on it and provide some feedback. I know there are "commercial" auto inspectors, which I am not opposed to using, but I thought someone who knows VW (especially one with FI) could provide a more educated insight. Thanks
