Nice progress. The wiring looks pretty intact, except for the drill damage and even the fuse box paper is there, that's rare to see.
Thanks for all the little videos too.
It's funny I might not watch a 20 minute video but I'll watch 10 2 minutes videos in a row _________________ How to Post Photos

Got a jump on Blue early this morning but taking it slow to make sure front nose skin comes out right. I tried saving as much of the original metal as possible without having to get into the headlight buckets to keep all measurements as close as possible. So far it seems to be comin out decent and still needs some more welding to finish but getting closer to buttening up this nose skin! Once finished and epoxy coated I will seam seal under lower nose lip and behind lower valance. Looking forward to getting to work on the insidie of the front cab doglegs, seating and floors. Lots of wire wheeling, sanding, degreasing, metal prep, primer and paint comin up! Oh Yeah!! Did I say more weldinbg!! Lol!

Nice work brotha!!and awesome team work. only thing next time on the nose do more rounded corners instead of the sharp 45,it will be way stronger.and less likely to have a stress crack. but hell ya keep at it,cant wait to see it finished! |

Thank you Andre, chippin away at this one little by little!! Thanks for the heads up on the curved corners, never thought about it but sound right will do!! Still plenty to do, welding and grinding is extremely time consuming. Not being really able to get behind the bottom of the headlight buckets to dolly and hammer is aggravating but I will do my best! Good hearing from you Bud! |

After a much needed family vacation we are back. Flew to Seattle, Washington! We enjoyed several scenic hikes and sites in Olympic National Park, Northwestern Coast including, Ruby Beach, La Push Beach, Cape Flattery and a Beautiful Day in Victoria, Canada!! Took a few days rest and back on Blue!!
Finished up smoothing out the front nose, reset jack stands, braced up the bus in cargo area, and started cutting out and replacing more metal to get a solid foundation!! Gonna be hitting it hard these next few days to try and get ahead on this front cab area!!

A few pics and update video of progress! This lower bulkhead section for me was a little harder than expected and was definitely a learning curve but feel I did pretty good. There was a lot of time taken in fitting, drilling, grinding & swearing Believe me!!
I got the lower bulkhead in finally and almost done with welding and grinding. Ready to move on to seat tubs, tool box and floors!!

This is a perfect example of an old bus falling into the right hands. Love the family aspect. Bravo lad, carry on! |
