Fred Smith, Founder of Fed-Ex passed away at 80yo today.

Bobby Sherman's dad was our milkman when I was growing up in SoCal. Nicest man! He let us ride to the cul-de-sac and back, and hit the button on the big fridge compartment hatch.
And he was the unofficial "neighborhood watch" officer for the area!

He was pretty good, I thought his best film work was "Cool Hand Luke", but Mission Impossible had staying power.
I cannot rate Schifrin at the level of Williams, Morricone, Hermann, Korngold, Waxman, Elmer Bernstein, Max Steiner, Elfman, and others.
