To make a long story short: My trans was locked in gear so I cannot install the new clutch pack. I couldn't make anything happen with the old "screwdriver in the fill hole" trick, so, yeah. Trans and axles (since it is a swing set-up) come out. Really, good times.
I get the nose cone off and the hockey stick is sitting ON TOP of the center trans shaft/rod. I believe that is the first/second gear shaft? I was hoping that would be the case and that there possibly isn't any other issue.
Am I right? I have all the shafts at an even height and, as long as I put the hockey stick in correctly, I should be good to go?
Thanks in advance, this thing is really kicking my ass. Hopefully I can drive it SOME this summer.

Put the nose cone back on and make sure you can move between the gears w/it not installed. You should be able to do that by grabbing the hockey stick end w/plyers, perhaps wrap decent amount of electrical tape around where you grab it, so as not to gouge the surface. That's what I've done in the past. _________________ "Men are qualified for civil liberty in exact proportion to their disposition

Please stop doing that. It damages the hockey stick, then it tears out the bushing when trying to take it apart. Use an old shift rod coupler for shifting it out of the car. _________________
