How does that battery cover work with all those tabs? |
the tabs that hold on the masonite? I guess they are placed in a way to avoid the terminals. _________________ Craig K

No. Those extended metal tabs on the 4 perimeter sides. |

I dont see those features on others ictured in thread, so no clue. I'd look at mine, if I had one!
EDIT - maybe the tasb version has something on the right, partially missing. Or just paint. _________________ Craig K

last pic EverettB tagged 'split beetle and barndoor.' Might have to ask that crowd what those little cutouts are for.
EDIT - ah, not the little 'windows' but the extended sheet metal fingers; sort of like a spring tab. i dug through several pics and didn't see them elsewhere. Not all showed the underside however. _________________ Craig K

Those ^^^ metal pieces dropping down must center and elevate it but not let it sit on the perimeter like the normal battery cover. |

While not exactly parts these fan shroud stamps were a “part of the package” so to speak. I had the image reproduced with a couple of ink stamps.
