No. Those extended metal tabs on the 4 perimeter sides.

I dont see those features on others ictured in thread, so no clue. I'd look at mine, if I had one!

EDIT - maybe the tasb version has something on the right, partially missing. Or just paint.

last pic EverettB tagged 'split beetle and barndoor.' Might have to ask that crowd what those little cutouts are for.

EDIT - ah, not the little 'windows' but the extended sheet metal fingers; sort of like a spring tab. i dug through several pics and didn't see them elsewhere. Not all showed the underside however.

Those ^^^ metal pieces dropping down must center and elevate it but not let it sit on the perimeter like the normal battery cover.

While not exactly parts these fan shroud stamps were a “part of the package” so to speak. I had the image reproduced with a couple of ink stamps.
