Is the canvas hooked on or just draped and held by the coconut mat? |

Wow. Congratulations. That's a long time. A long wait for this moment. Cool. _________________ my current challenge

well it didnt run very long
driving back from getting it licensed, luckily only about 25 meters from my garage, there was an awful metallic sound in the engine. like a stone getting thrown around in a metal bucket
thought first i broke a lifter. opened the rocker covers, but everything was tight there. pulled the engine and got the first head off....
seems a nut or something similar had been in the no 4 chamber.
only metal crumbles left. at least the bottom end was fine

pulled all of the guides and while at it, cleaned up the ports a little bit
waiting on some new lifters and valves. i have a set of nice stock pistons and liners that i will use
still cant imagine where the metal part came from. i drove a couple of miles before it happened

| You would have remembered if a 10mm nut from the intake was missing and you had to grab another to finish the intake. |
