I’ve got my hazards turn signals working when the ignition is off. When I turn on the ignition, the hazard light stays on solid and the flasher relay stops working.

I’ve got the wiring diagram here, and things look good. I feel like I’m sending a 2nd power source to the hazard switch or flasher relay and screwing it up.

The headlight switch, hazard switch, and flasher relay are new.

Any ideas ?

Oh no..., new switch, most likely the issue.

New switches lack the 54 terminals, thier claims it fits 68-73 models is a fib, it only works with European models.

It must have required some creative wiring to find places for the extra wires.

Do you have stock (incandescent) bulbs at the instrument indicators?
With stock wiring, there is no turn signal functionality when the ignition is off.

Mr Busdaddy, what switches might these be? Mine is an European model. I may be interested in buying a spare.

Also what t/s relay are you using? Wrong one can cause issues like that. 70 needs 4-pin box or equivalent with 31, 49, 49a and KBL. Speedo indicator light goes to KBL not 49a.
