A spare what? It’s on the nose with a euro mount. The well, lower bucket for the tire holds all the tools. I was impressed at how perfectly sized the pack out stuff is. _________________ ‘72 Karmann Ghia Conv.

Wizard.
Makes me wish the 70 had a spare well back there, instead of under the front bench where it totally screws up good storage (but I like better than on the nose).
Thinking that the mounting makes this a good candidate for under the bed in the 65 truck - even tho I have rings for straps this looks better. _________________ Craig K

| Very Nice Setup. I really dig that setup, doesn't look out of place, it won't float around and it keeps everything secure. |

I’m really pleased with the outcome. It was simple and utilized existing factory holes with the weight supported by “shelves” on the welded metal tire straps. The pack out setup works well. If I had a Doka, wish I did, I think these would mount well from the “ceiling” of the treasure chest, out of the way leaving the floor empty. _________________ ‘72 Karmann Ghia Conv.

Very slick since I don't mind a front mounted spare.
My only question, do the tools and parts vibrate much.... ie, making annoying noise? Even in a loud bus that stuff drive me crazy. |

My tools are in the well below but in tool rolls and small zippered bags, and the parts boxes have organizing cubbies. None of it makes any noise that I can detect. _________________ ‘72 Karmann Ghia Conv.
