I bought a brake line bending tool. It's small and fits in your hand, works well. Others have posted that they used their thumbs to get the right bends. I was never able to get those bends perfectly straightend out, but found that it doesn't really matter. I used the old line as a guide for the new line. The most difficult part for me was getting the right bend as it went throught the firewall and went to the master cylinder. Patience is the key.

I did it this way. Jack up the car and take off the front and rear driver's side wheels. Take out the driver's seat and the pedal cluster. It's not absolutely necessary, but it does make it easier. Take out the floor mats, back seat bottom and driver's side rear kick panel. Pull the carpet up. Disconnect the line at both ends. Bend back the tabs along the tunnel holding down the line and pull it out. Since it is busted already, you don't have to be too picky about the condition of the line, but don't jack it up too much, as you'll use it as a template for the new one. As for straightening the line, I heated it a little with a propane torch to make it easier to straighten out. While you're doing this, it's a good time to replace the rubber gromets where the line penetrates the body. I used the old line as a template to bend the new one, then put it in there.

Hope this helps.

I did mine with the driver's seat out and the rear seat and cross member removed. (made it a LOT easier!) I made the bends for everything except for the front where it sticks throught the bulkhead. (I didnt remove the pedal cluster.) I had enough slack to push the line rearward as much as possible and only bend it a little in the middle to get it to fit it through the bulkhead. I had the gas tank out since I also replaced the MC and all the other lines, so it was EZ access to bend the line up and around to connect to the MC. Put the rubber grommets in and that was it!
