The place you get your plugs from is not giving you the strait poop! They still "do" w7cc plugs because I just installed some in my bus. (the heads on my type 1 style motor takes the long reach plugs.) They should be plentiful. Maybe that's all they had in stock and just wanted to sell you what was on the shelf. As you can see by the above chart that W= thread size and pitch. 7= the heat range. The first C= the thread reach.(Long) the second C= copper core electrode. on my last tune up (3 weeks ago.) I replaced the w8cc plug with w7cc plugs. I feel my bus runs better with the cooler plug. (My opinion.) Don't use the short reach plug if your motor does not require them. Go get your money back if you can. Or the correct plugs. Smile
