Thanks for the nice comments so far.

It was pretty exciting to make a big trip with an engine that we just built. There was just 300 km on the clock!

I must say that the children have behaved very sweet, and not once have nagged.

Furthermore, the weather fanatastisch.
In the Netherlands we left around 19:30 hours and all the way, it is not been below 30 degrees!
We enjoy listening to the engine noise. (Because there is no radio in the beetle.)
In Germany we had a lot of road work, but we have good carry on.
That was because we drive into the night.

Austria is also a great country. Especially Carinthia. What a mega nice people live there. Everyone says hello to you in the super market and on the streets. But most important is that nature is so incredibly beautiful, as you can see in the pictures.

This weekend we go to an American military base in Germany. Bitburg. There will be a drag race weekend. Also called Das Drag Days.

Of course there are new videos and photos. I'll keep you posted.
