Ok, Did the football trick today!! I am so stoked. The nose isn't perfect by no means, but it is way, way, way beter then before!! Thanks so much for the tip on the football!!

I learned a few things in the process!

1, don't use an old sun dried football!

I also learned to put a board between the seat floor board area and the metal that the football falls between. I kind of bent that out a bit at first. Once I had a board holding it in place, I was able to get more of the dents out!!

I had a hard time getting the football down far enough in some areas. In some areas as I got one dent out with the ball, the other already fixed dent, would pop back in. We decided to start collecting footballs and when we get enough of them, we will take the bumper off and blow up several balls at the same time, then work the outside metal.

Again, thanks so much for this tip. I have been hating my buss's nose for a long time. Finally started to look for a stud gun so I could try to fix it by myself. Even though Hubby did end up helping me, the football did the trick to get the nose to where I can live with it now! Looks like a bus now instead of a bulldog! LOL

Arty Nice work with the football. I bet if you shove a couple tennisballs on a metal rod you could use it as a paint roller!
