Very nice work on moving the shifter position!

How old are those pictures? How is the body coming along?

Looking forward to following your progress!

the first pic is about 3 years old
the other pics are 3 months old
I'm farther along on this build and will be posting more pictures
as time permits.
Trying to finish for Manx on the Banx.

Surfnc
thanks for the complement, that is my first attempt at
fiberglass repair.

The body polished out ok, so I'm going with the survivor look
for a few years or so.

Great story and it will be fun to see your dream machine come "back together".

Awesome job for the first attempt or any really. My first attempts had to be sanded off and redone a few times. That happens to me now on occasion.

Any pictures of it now?

What is the reason for moving the shifter back, for comfort, or are the seats moved back, or nature of building a buggy due to the shortened pan? Thanks.

It interferes less with your leg and "falls more readily to hand" (easier to reach). Buggy seats are usually lowered and a bit more reclined

Took a different approach to the cut and weld method of shortening the handbrake.
I cut off 2.5 inch, machined a new handle and button out of some billet aluminum.
Also moved the mount back 4.00 inch on the Flore pan.

Had some type 3 rear brakes, the plan was to put them on the buggy.
Pulled the drums and rustmageddon.
Change of plans, disk breaks.
