This is a food delivery van interior. Maybe a cooled cake delivery van. There are strict regulations on food transportation in the EU.

The others are the very low budget DIY campervan style Smile

I can appreciate this! It kinda has a DTM/Reiger styling with the wide body.I also see some mk2 scirocco style. Although I don't like the body window, to large and looks like the Toyota van!

I do like the IMSA-style fender flares but everything else seems a little much.

Thank you very much for this book since I happen to have a Kasten!
It has very good info for DIY cabinet making. Like the dimensions!

I just bought a Reimo interior to install, but there is really good info in the book. I'll see if I can keep mine out of the "Wall of Shame"!

When adding a Audi grill, it might be best to leave off the chrome surround that makes it look like its frowning.

Great flame job, but on a Vanagon, shouldn't the flames be coming from the back?

Yeah, not sure where /\ that one came from, but around here it's like dumping money into an '80s era Ford Econoline van.

It makes NO sense to the Germans. Most people here still driving them, they are dirty, old (looking), minimally maintained (the vans, not the people!).

The old BW vans are being piloted by young 'uns who can't afford/ don't know how to properly maintain them.

Old counsel works (the orange vans/ trucks) and others look as if they are still being driven by the original owners (old guys).

Cheap gas, new parts ONLY when necessary, oil change once a year, washed by the seasonal rains, and the moment there is a rust patch they offload it to the scrap yard.

Oh look, high pipes and a visor! Sooo.. the exhaust has to do a 180, run 5 feet forward and then another 5 feet skyward?! Probably losing precious HP just pushing exhaust that far out.

Lots of Pep Boys money spent on this one; light bar, rain deflectors, chrome eyebrows, clearance lights, lower grille, smoked turn signals, wide chrome wheels, shaka sticker, door edge reflector. No dingle balls? And it needs baby moons.

More WoS! Looks like this owner flipped through a truck accessories catalog and went nuts. As for the mural, I think I'd prefer a Viking theme.

It's like the 80s all over again !

The Europeans have an inexhaustible supply of gaudy examples for this thread. Wait, was that politically incorrect ? Sorry, but it seems to be true.

That is so awesome. Does need some kind of Conan-like figure though. To be even more awesomer.
My wife does want me to repaint the van...I'll have to show her this as being the kind of paint job that could actually move cosmetic work up on my list.
