i have a 57 oval that i am returning to stock , i am taking out the later engine with auto choke and replacing it with the original 1200cc 30hp unit , this is in need of a manual choke , my question is , where is the original position of the choke knob on the dash (mine is RHD) and where does the cable run .. any info on this would be very much appreciated as i have searched only to find nothing specific for my year , thanks in advance 👍👍👍

The choke cable is on the right side of the ignition switch it passes into the cab in the upper footwell then through the front firewall and then into the tunnel, it exits the tunnel with the acc cable and clutch cable to the left front of the transmission mount

If you need pics let me know

Did a search of the forum for "RHD" and got these that might help. Checked the "Title Only" box to reduce down results:

I have blocked off the two passes through the body with grommets and you can see the ends of the conduit in the tunnel both near the master cylinder and trans front mount
