Wally corrected us on that. The OG ones are all cast based on the way the markings on the back look.

You can get a forged, chromemoly 228mm flywheel ....from AA or QSC.
If you wanted such a beast I would only buy it from EMW or FAT after they QC it, or if I lived around the corner from AA or QSC.

On a 914 I would only install a 228, after running one for well over 150K miles with almost zero wear.
Only pulled it off to replace with a flexplate...
