Rear engine mount

My 1970 Fastback already has the Engine Mounting Tube 311 199 021 fitted to the engine. But it does not have the rest of the rear engine mount to attach it to the rear of the engine compartment, as per this photo :

Obviously I do have the two engine carrier mounts on either side of the engine bay, as per the IRS suspension changes. So I accept that under normal circumstances I do not "need" that rear mount.

However, if I was going to subject the car to some more "extreme" use, would the additional inclusion of the rear engine mount provide more support / bracing for the engine, as well as provide a back up in case one of the side engine carrier mounts failed ? (When I received my car from PO, the welds on one of these side carrier mounts were already detached from the bodywork, so I am aware that they are not bullet proof. I have since reinforced these side mounts with a full weld rather than just the original tack welds,)

Q 1. Would the addition of this rear mount be worthwhile in regard to support etc ?
Q 2. How is the plate fitted to the rear body work ? Just welded onto the underside of the rear floor ?
Q 3. Presumably parts 2 - 10 in the photo below then bolt onto the plate, thus supporting the Mounting Tube (1) ?

Q4. Any downside to adding a rear engine mount ?

The off- center mount and carrier bar mounts just tend to fight each other. Don't go there.

Also- that off center mount is a stabilizing point only on swing axle cars. It was never designed to hold the engine up, and won't.

The short tube remains on later IRS engines because the factory used it during engine install.
