I want to mount my auto club badge on the rear grille, but I can’t figure how. Can you reach the backside of the grille somehow, or do you have a trick for how to get a bracket and mounting nuts behind there?

Seems like your club would have some ideas. I’d probably use some earth magnets .

3M automotive double sided tape comes to mind.

Thanks! Yeah, I was considering this, but wasn’t sure there would be enough surface area on the Beetle grille to mount it properly.

What’s the thinnest tape 3M makes? I’ve found the 1.1 mm, but it seems thicker than modern emblem applications.
