				|
 |
				| Last year I already announced that a major discovery will go public in 2011.
Here it is: Dannenhauer & Stauss Hardtop Coupe. There was only three build and for now this one is the only survivor.

I heart about this car at the end of 2010. First I was very sceptical, but after getting the first pictures I was real exited that it was for real. Last thuesday I took the plane and went over to Oregon to see the car in real live. It really is a beauty and has hardly any rust on it. It was in a barn since 1973.

I bought the car and sold it again. I was the proud owner for about 1 minute.

There were only Three D&S Hardtop coupe's build. This is the last one build in 1954 and originally belonged to a Tobacco dealer from Wiesbaden. The car originally was equipped with a Porsche engine and porsche brakes.

Please dont ask for prices and current owner name. The new owner wish to remain privite and I never talk about prices.

				| It looks like it still has came with its original 16 inch slotted wheels sitting separately on the trailer... Overall it looks very complete! Congratulations!
Was the rear window trim with the car too?

Do you know how the came to be in Oregon... any other history?

				| Fantastic find. Great car. It would even look better with a smaller rear window.
