Why don't we have a thread like this in the beetle forum. I can start one right now Laughing

I see a tray for the rear deck lid for convertibles for sale
but I don't know what years they are for

Should a 79 vert have one?

Nope, 70 was the last year of them.

that is not a stupid question, a stupid question would be where can a buy the cheapest chrome tinware to replace my perfectly working original stuff.

I was thinking along the lines of: "I want to put a set of dual 48s on my stock 1600"

hitest,

That's not cool. Most of us have done an oh crap reply or post at one time or another. However, to single a person out, especially someone who got a part that did not have directions with it, really give this forum a bad name. I am sure that if someone went through all of your posts, there would be some that you are not proud of. Making fun of people as a whole is okay, but it is not okay to point a finger at someone, when they believe that they have a valid question. Would you rather that the person didn't ask, and the roof rack came flying off when you were behind them.

I didn't think so

I do have to say there is quite a lot less roasting of posters in this forum than others
Which is good and bad
Hopefully a post like this might keep some of them contained!

Stupid questions and smartass answers liven up the joint..what sucks is when people call out others as "un cool" when their reply offends them..
