The generator pulley on our 69 Bus self destructed. I could not find one locally. Searching the ads on The Samba led me to Richard. I got a very quick response, a reasonable price and he mailed it on the same day I sent the PayPal payment.
The part arrived very well packed and was perfect!
Thank you vwearl for great service. _________________ Larry in OB

I bought a starter to have as a spare for my 68 Autostick Ghia. I hope I won't need it but the price was very reasonable so I couldn't pass it up. I received it 4 days later. Starter was well packaged and it appears to be in excellent condition. He also through in a small plastic seat belt buckle cover that I'm missing but not sure if it's a match. Great transaction, and I would highly recommend vwearl (Richard Gardner)

Thanks again Richard for another seamless transaction! Received the correct fender bolts and washers I've been searching for in amazing time! Richard is truly one of the Samba's BEST seller/assets of good used oem parts! Wish more were like him out there...

It’s so refreshing to encounter a person like this.
I needed a very small piece of hardware.
I inquired and he sent it to me. Free. No charge.
What a great thing to do.
He took his time and paid for shipping.
I’m sure it wasn’t a fortune but, he could’ve charged me.
Thank goodness there are still people like Richard in the world.
It’s amazing how something like this can really invigorate and renew my faith In Humanity.
Please buy stuff from this man! |

I stopped by to get a few things as I was returning from a long trip to buy my '64 baja. Wish I could have stayed for days looking at the parts. Great prices, friendly guy. If I'm in the area again, and he's got time to spare, I'd be glad to return. Might even buy from him online in the future, if he has a little something I need. |
