I'm a bit of a purist but this color combo looks pure. Nice work joe56vw.

Have you considered simply starting with a nicer bus? I don't know what your skills are, but the race is easier if you can see the finish line. If you are not a runner, don't start off doing a marathon. |

Wow that looks great!
You should travel back in time and convince VW to run this as a stock color combo _________________ My 1958 PGSG project topic |

Did you use woodworking clamps to put them together? Your bus looks super sweet! I just spent 8 hours building and installing popouts and safaris in my bus. |
No I live on an island and couln't really find any good ones for a reasonable price
So I wrapped some furring strips with shop rags then used some rackets straps over them _________________ '60 15 window walkthrough

over the winter did a lot of small things to the bus that really weren't too exciting
after coating the insides with POR15 I stripped and paint the decklid
rebuilt and painted the steeringbox
polished my new spoons latches
first time on it's wheels in over two years, garage door was broken so I couldn't push it outside yet
finally got the door fixed a few days ago and rolled it out today for a bath
have to raise it up since it's rubbing on this side pretty bad
after an hour of trying to mount the decklid since the new nut plates I made had some issues in their new home I realized I put the hinges on backwards oh well it has to come back off to fix all the mounting issues anyway
since I had to moved the bus to fix the garage door properly it's just a roller at the moment, most of the suspension will have to be taking apart again and set up correctly but it should be easier the second time _________________ '60 15 window walkthrough

I think the outer scraper is on backwards. |
Yeah i saw that while doing the third one i fix them already
I also have to rig up something with ratchet straps since i don't have any clamps big enough
Over the last few weeks imhave also removed all the window in the rear and have por15 from the rear crossmember back and will be installing the IRS kit soon _________________ '60 15 window walkthrough
