My first thought was that you had joined that VW group from Calgary that went down to the museum last weekend for the startup of the Lancaster. I nearly joined them to tell the truth!

The pictures are from 2018, but we drive by the museum every time we go to Calgary. Sometimes the plane is outside (to run up the engines) and others it inside, so hit or miss. We have been in the museum, great displays and a partial Lancaster cockpit you can enter and sit at the pilots controls.
If you're ever in the area make time to visit.
