I don't buy it. That is a '71 single cab, so?
Does it have any papers in the glove box? _________________ Wash your hands

Well then someone has done a remarkable job of swapping the VINs, if it's titled with that number live with it, just remember you have a 71 truck when shopping for parts. _________________ Rust NEVER sleeps and stock never goes out of style.

That's a 71, I can see the raised area where the number will be beside the battery just aft of the aircleaner, the number will start with 261, whatever numbers are up front are for a stationwagon, sketchy. |
The back plate is also the same 22122 |

71/72 still have the vin stamped in the engine compartment right? To the right of the motor, just before the battery.
The original vin should start with a 26x. Also the butt looks round so my bet is for '71. _________________ Wash your hands

That M code description applies to multiple models, when on a bus it means vent in slider, but when on a doublecab it means vent in door, that M plate is for a stationwagon so disregard the truck stuff. _________________ Rust NEVER sleeps and stock never goes out of style.

weird - it says "with wing in double cab door" farther down. It also mentions sliding door. _________________ "Most people don't know what they're doing, and a lot of them are really good at it." - George Carlin |

Why would you speculate "Canadian"? I am under the impression North American was USA and Canada. _________________

Something is not right. The decode says it is a 7 seater micro bus. When clearly it is a Truck?

Something funny going on there, the VIN is for a standard microbus, yet you have a truck From the metal surrounding the engine and the disc brakes I'll say it's really a 71 that someone's swapped VIN's on, be careful. _________________ Rust NEVER sleeps and stock never goes out of style.
