Spi was prepping to weld the rear window frame of my 70 vert and surprise it made of brass! So how do I fix this since I can’t weld it. At least I don’t think I can weld it. Braze it? I assume you can braze brass?

Thanks S

brazing is an option, use the proper flux! An alternative is to check out the classified ads for a replacement.

Bug On!

ps.. this what you need? Offered at 25 bucks which is less than you'd pay for a can of flux and brazing rod, not to mention rechroming. Worth consideration.

I have no association with seller, there are other sellers too listing currently.

Good luck
