6 packs of 24s (144 beers) + 1 beer on the 1st day of Christmas so 145 beers.... but I could be wrong.

Listening to the song I noticed that the 9th day, 10th day, and 11th day are completely missing. (0 beers)
They get 6 packs of 2-4s on the 6th day, 7th day, and 8th day. After welcoming us to day 12 the countdown starts at day 5. (432 beers)
They get 1 beer on the 1st day through the 7th day. On day 8 they get 1 beer but Bob tells us, "that beers empty." They also get a beer on the 12th day. (8 beers)
So by my count Bob and Doug get 440 beers. Cheers!

i’d argue that bob drank that day-8 beer surreptitiously, so i’m going with 441.
