| Absolutely incredible game! It went well past my bedtime but I watched it this morning. I wasn't going to lose sleep over it. |

Not the result I wanted but I knew it would be interesting. Wow, what a game! _________________ *******************************

Ridiculous efforts from both teams. Nothing was inevitable. Every at-bat could be the game winner. This went on for whole second game's worth! I am exhausted.
The tanks of both teams emptied. It was a matter of who would last long enough to not make a mistake, any of which would end the game and squander all the great plays that came before.
So many Series records, I can't list them all here!
As a lifelong Dodger fan, I am relieved (see what I did there?) they won after this epic battle. _________________ Current Fleet:

I fell asleep just minutes before the game was over. Watched the whole thing just to miss out on the big finish. _________________ Confusious say it takes it takes two wipes to know you need three, but it takes three wipes to know it only needed two. |

| That horseshit called "strike" by the cyclops home plate ump potentially cost the BJs the game. I replayed that situation for my wife and then I explained why umpires will eventually be replaced by computers. That umpire is a fricking joke. |

Bad calls both ways, throughout the playoffs. Typical.
I can't wait 'til the day we can them for the optical pitch caller. _________________ Current Fleet:

Okay MLB fans, how about your thoughts on the best umpire ever and the worst? I've followed baseball since 1961 when I could actually understand the game. I'll start.
Best: Dutch Rennert who had a very dramatic style in calling pitches. It was showtime.
Worst: Eric Gregg who it seemed blew every close call.
Best call was from Chris Pelekoudas in 1965 when he called Hank Aaron out for striding forward during his swing and was an inch or 2 out of the batter's box when he hit an apparent home run. |

i’m with you on dutch rennert, though i’m not sure about “best,” but certainly the most entertaining.
never had to wonder what his call was. you could hear his call over the crowd noise. _________________ 1978 Champaign Edition 2 Westfalia

Freddie was tagged out earlier in the game and called safe. Among other questionable calls. I went to bed at the end of the 9th. I couldn’t have stayed awake till the end anyway. _________________ 1973 standard, yellow, lowered, 3” narrowed front, 1600 blo-thru turbo w/single dell 15.4@86, so far

I was wondering how many of us had noticed that. I feel I know the story so well it might just be my own at this point, except for the fact I wasn't born yet. _________________ Confusious say it takes it takes two wipes to know you need three, but it takes three wipes to know it only needed two. |
