tall thin tanks are in every plumbing supply isle.
they do cost a little more than the short fat green ones.

They can also be refilled just like the green ones.
That old lantern is very very cool, BTW! I usually just use my ryobi battery powered lantern now, but I would definitely drag that thing along for the cool factor. _________________ Dave Cook

$12.25 for 100 v. 13.99 for 50 at Harbor Freight. That's less than half the price if you buy 4 to get free shipping. That's a decent price.

From Slickdeals per HF -
Quote: |
I've found HF 7mil gloves to be inferior to 6mil well rated brands. Gloveworks, Thor, venom are some good brands that come to mind. In short, these 8mils will be far better than the 9mil from HF. |

1) HF is having 1/2 off gloves this coming weekend (not the one we just started) so those 50 will be like $8
2) just picked up 150 from Costco for $9 iirc. Don't have mil but hands on testing shows them strong
3) the black/orange ones from home depot have worked well. I like the small reasonable pouch for the tool bag. When empty, the pouch will be refilled with the Costco ones.
4) just did a messy job en-route and didn't even think of putting gloves on :-/ _________________ 83.5 Westy with Subaru 2.5, 4 spd manual, center seat, COLD A/C on 134a!, Winter camp heated with an Espar B4 gasoline furnace

I will never, ever NOT order tires from Tire Rack.
Let’s wear in them tires!

will it fit behind drivers seat?
Other than a solar panel, what else does it need?

Technically, all you need is one way of recharging the battery, but you can have multiple ways.
At a minimum, I recommend to weekend warrior friends just to get a shore charger.
If you want alternator charging while driving, you will need a DC-DC.
If you want solar charging, you will need a solar controller.
Some products have both alternator and solar charging combined - I think some Renogy product and Redarc products.
I highly doubt this battery will fit in the drivers battery box. I would recommend this to be located in the Westy closet or under the bench seat. _________________ "Jo Ann" - '83.5 Westfalia EJ22e w/Peloquin |

Not quite a "deal" but a free sample that is available is from Steel-It
A reputable beef boi named Quentin (syncroanddestroy) who used to work for VividVans spoke highly of this stuff - uses it to protect suspension parts.
I requested a free sample - he was using the 1012 Black.

Stanley1913 (Canada) has released a few Black Friday camp kitchen items at 50% off including a 48oz French Press in a Maple colour:
https://ca.stanley1913.com/collections/sale
We purchased this item earlier this year and it does work well and keeps coffee hot, we also use a paper basket filter to reduce the quantity of grounds that make their way through. _________________ 1991 Westfalia EJ251, 1972 Volvo 1800 ES |
