Most people get the retro styling thing soooooo wrong (Prowler, SSR, 2001-2005 T-Bird the to name a few)....THAT VW roadster is almost perfect - they blew it with the rear bumper - integrating a front bumper in the back would have worked much better IMHO...and theres one or two little things, but otherwise great work.. |
Agreed. Rear bumper cutting into the fenders is weird. |

I tried to find more info about it online but to no avail. Anyone have a link to more details?
Dan
BTW, in my opinion, this is definitely NOT a homemade bastard or abortion! More like a coachbuilt or special, similar to a Hebmuller or Dannenhauer. _________________ 67 Beetle (gone)

I'm trying to figure out if they used a modern car main body/dash and interior and put on the modified vw parts parts and pan. Looks like some modern roadster with retro peices added to it. Much like a miata, solstice/opel, or ???? |

Old meets new? Works for me this way, but I can see a more retro dash as well. |

I like where that's going. Not sure how those rear side windows are going to turn out, but it sure looks like it's going the right way. Just needs a similarly competent builder. |

I wonder what adapters were used for the six lug wheels? I like the tires, but that is about it. _________________ nothing |

A "little" overdone? Kind of like the Titanic took on a "little" water...
Usually I can find some redeeming points in most cars..This one reminds me of how my little brother used to glue every piece that came in the old AMT 3-n-1 model car kits on the model... _________________ D-Dubya Manx clone - 63 Short pan,1914.

Yeah, just remove all the pipes, connectors, and scoops, and bingo! _________________ “If you care for a thing long enough, it takes on a life of its own, doesn't it? Mending old things, preserving them, looking after them – on some level there's no rational grounds for it.”

I think it's a P-hop and not sure where it should be posted
but wanted to share the awesomeness of the idea.
