It's great when there's more than one, no matter in what condition they are. |

let's see, since I started this thread.....wiring is in progress
I have been at it on or two pieces at a time...today was axle boots and clutch cable/bowden tube replace time..
new starter's under there and I am going to find a throw out bearing and mount the motor....once the wiring is done, there will be some pics of that....brakes will be the last mechanical things that happen....maiden voyage video will be shot too!!! this thing has not been under its own power since 1981 and I am looking forward to driving it |

while I was there, the gas tank was replaced, found a VG fuel door, replacement section for the shift coupler, and got a GREAT deal on the KF inner rocker--which I will need as soon as the metal work starts...it will run and drive before any of the metal starts...I want to enjoy it a little before it goes under the knife... |

today's events include all new brakes...hardlines and all. fresh grease in the spindles up front, shift rod and coupler hooked back up and grinding some bell housing to fit the 12v....for anyone who wants to get silly, the master cylinder is a DUAL circuit....I like to have the safety factor on MY side...especially if my kids are going to ride in this with me....
tranny and RGB emptied and refilled....all fresh!!! |

Are you a sign painter by chance? The only other shop floor I have seen with that variety of paint drop colors was my buddy's sign shop. _________________ Confusious say it takes it takes two wipes to know you need three, but it takes three wipes to know it only needed two. |

Hope you cleaned that bell housing out before you put the motor in. That grinding dust will do a number to your starter, rear main seal and through out bearing. |
