My VW mentor once told me what this was for; I think an align boring tool? He valued it highly, whatever it is - I should have written it down somewhere LOL. If you have a clue, pass it on to me. I'd love to use it if I knew what it was! Removable tee handle is 14", shaft is 11" and the drive end is 5/8" Shaft dia is 1-1/8"
No markings that I can see.

It's a chuck key for a lathe chuck. _________________

At 14" x 11" for the chuck key that'd be a big lathe! Looks like one to be sure. My buddy never touched a lathe in his life, and told me never to lose it as it was part of an important VW tool. Now I gotta wonder if he was messin with me! _________________ Craig K
