Hey Friends and Freaks,
my day job is a Sprinter van builder here in the PNW. I'm super lucky to have a unique job and love what I do. So I was incredibly stoked when we had a Vanagon come through the door for what we call a full build.
I just wanted to show you guys what we did. I think everyone will appreciate it whether you like the design or just appreciate the craftsmanship.
Its a Syncro with a fresh 2.5 subaru swap.
We also added a lithium electrical setup with solar and espar heater.
I have tons of photos so let me know if you want more.
We are Vanlife Collective in Hood River, Oregon for those that are curious.
If i'm not allowed to say that please just let me know, I am happy to remove that information.

Neato. I really like the cabinets where the spice rack is in a Westy.
What's the round port in the lower left of the last photo. Is there a shower in that cabinet? How many ah in the LiFePo4 batteries? _________________ - Jim

Guilty as charged.
Current: 1990 Westy Camper - Bostig RG4, 2wd, manual trans w/Peloquin, NAHT high-top, 280 ah LFP battery, 160 watts solar, Flash Silver, seam rust, bondo, etc., etc.
Past: 1985 Westy Camper - 1.9 wbx, 2wd, manual trans, Merian Brown, (sold after 17 years to Northwesty who converted it to a Syncro). |

Very nice!
Just one critique, all those sharp corners! With the tight space in a Westy banging into hard edges can get old . _________________ Currently:

Looks very nice and practical, great job!
I'm not sure if it's an optical illusion or not, but the rear end of the cabinet looks like it's cut-off (I'm referring to the section between the 2 vertical doors, above the round connection). Do you have any close-ups of that section, or just explain me what I'm seeing?

That is the shower port, we did a dual jerry can fresh water system under the galley so its easy to winterize and fill / empty with a grey water tank mounted underneath.
I am bummed i didn't grab a photo of the electrical system. Lots of high quality work with no proof!

I wasn't crazy about it at first but I ended up really liking it. Yes we used Rivnuts and made some nice brackets as well. _________________ Low Voltage Electrical Expert

here is what you're seeing!
the rear cabinet also has a false floor so you can really fill up the bottom of the cabinet with your secret necessities _________________ Low Voltage Electrical Expert

yes we would absolutely do that. we have access to basically any color you want and can make modifications you want.
We are in Hood River, Oregon as well so it may not be that long of a drive for you to save on shipping / work to assemble _________________ Low Voltage Electrical Expert
