Well, after over 20+ years of been a type 3 collector, I have finished my dream car. As this was my first car back in 1983,

I had always wanted a perfect sunroof squareback. I have showed a lot of pics lately, but nothing like a before and after. This project came about thanks to my family and to several type 3 specialists out there. Martin is done buying parts, so all you type 3 people out there , it is safe to go out there again.
Here we go..

Martin- I really heart the curb side before and after pics, really shows the attention to detail you spent on the resto.

BTW- mine is in way worst shape then yours was Razz, I dream about getting mine half as nice as yours Shocked

Awesome job Martin. That is my dream Squareback as well. I'm sure I'll be looking towards yours as an inspiration whenever I get my hands on a Ruby Red Sunroof. Beautiful job!

I was just waiting for insurance money to come in when you decided to keep the car and restore it instead. I cant wait to see it in person. Smile

Congrats Martin! Looks amazing. I remember a few years ago when you thought you were going to get out of the Type 3 world altogether. You have redeemed yourself! Very Happy

I never thought I'd see this sentence!

Congratulations on an absolutely beautiful car! You show a true dedication to your goal and a perseverance that is now rare in humanity.

Amazing car, dude...

...one question: What the hell are you going to do with all of your free time? Laughing

My favorite part? It is what you said... "I am going to drive this sucker into the ground..." It is good to see that you will be driving it!
