does anyone know the headlight ring screw dimensions? I'm about to just screw in any ol' sheet metal screw here in minute. Can't find anything that fits, M3 or M4 |

Go to the Lowes SS metric section. I have just done this exercise and their hardware worked perfectly. |

yeah ive been in and out of lowes. couldn't get one that fit. i happen to need some other stuff from aircooled.net, so i just ordered the screws. yeah i know 1.20 per screw is a lot, but whatever.
I wish Lowes had an assorted set of metric screws/bolts for cheap. I wonder if I can find a decent online somewhere. |

I went to ACE hardware the other day and was taken aback by the size and assortment of there on hand metric hardware. they had a ton of stuff. I'll be trying there before anywhere else from now on. Just FYI |

Metric, imperial... what a pain. 2 weeks ago we finished a Austin Mini - imperial fastenings all around, that scares me to death - it takes time to find out what fastening you need then you must find it and buy it... Lucky enough we were able to reuse all the original fastenings except 3 or 5 bolts and nuts that were replaced with metric _________________ The glory never gets old, just need new paint.
