I recently got my buggy out of the body shop and come to find out they broke my fuel gauge (no big deal needed replacing anyway), i cant seem to figure out how to get the fuel gauge tor release from the cable its not electric. Its the square type of gauge, does anyone know a good replacement? and how to remove it?

I always thought the cable was part of the gauge.

Out of stock, but call here and they may be able to tell you when more are coming.

You pop the cover off on the tank, it jst snaps on. That will allow to pull the cable and guide out and you will see how you lift the cable up so the cable will.slide out. With the gauge/cable assembly in hand it can be taken apart and repaired. I replaced the needle in the one in a '62 Bug I used to own.
