Read Tcash's links. If you are interested in getting some fresh tags on that awesome bus, see below.

| What does the M code say? It will tell you if it was destine to be A westy. The tags are screwed on on your bus .factory they were riveted on.and I haven't seen the westy tag like the one you have put on the side of the bus.If it has A stock sunroof hole in it it could have had A poptop at one time. |

Myth.
Show us your M plate and we can help you. Also, I agree with the earlier post that noted that your dog leg tags have been screwed in. They were originally riveted on at the dealership not the factory. Yours could be original and simply used a modified install for a paint job. _________________ All the redemption I can offer, girl, is beneath this dirty hood

At least in MN, yes, when I looked into this about 8/10 years ago - if you have RV plates and some kind of partition between you and your passengers, they can drink.
I have allowed this time to time years ago before I had kids, and trust me the fun/novelty wears off real quick if you're the one driving... _________________ Ritterlich im Kriege, wachsam für den Frieden |

| yours had A wesy kit ,came with A closet,jump-seat behind drivers seat, the fold out bed and A cabinet with A icebox and sink.the hole in the floor was from the sink drain. Most likely had A poptop but I'm not sure if it states that in the Mcode. you can tell buy seeing if the hole in the roof is A factory sunroof hole.Someone could have replaced the poptop with A hightop. |

It must be registered as a "housecar". Your registration will have "HSCR" under body type model. _________________ "You can lead an aircooled to water, but you can't make it drink"

Sounds like adventure wagon - mine looked like a Hack- It was also cut way back to the the rear and had a support bar under the head banger panel designed to really "get you" when ever you got out of the back seat. The westfalia stuff could have been added later. _________________ some days I get up and just sit and think. Some days I just sit.
