Engine cuts out under load

Hi. My 1600cc twin carb engines starts recentelly to cut-off under load at high gears. When i rev it up in standing, it works perfect. I've replaced spark plugs and adjust the ignition, carbs and valves, but the problem stays. Any sujestions how to solve this issue? Could bad fuel pump cuase this issue?

Try replacing the condenser. I also had an issue like that, swapped out the whole distributor with spare one. Then one component at a time. It was the condenser .

Plugged up fuel sock in the gas tank.
All the crud will settle around the fuel sock.

Yup clogged fuel filter would cause it to run out of fuel under load.

A coil going bad will do this too. Especially under load. I've had that happen to me back in 2004 right be going to the Invasion. Took me a couple of days to find it (went thru every system on the engine), because the engine would idle perfectly, but under load would run like crap. In my case it was a German blue coil trying to die (the last thing I checked). Swapped it with a German black coil, and everything was fine again.

I had the same problem. After reading this thread, I put in a new condenser and it's fixed.

Also check fuel tank vent, could be clogged.
Easy to check, just drive it with the gas cap off.

It was the condenser... problem solved

It used to be that condensors either worked, or did not. These days partially failed condensors seem to be the new norm.
